Quality Products & Support

We are not a generic parts store selling products we know little about.  We understand Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and Tribology.  We guarantee you will receive expert advice.  We understand the what, why and how with regards to fuel, lubrication and additive technologies.

Our reputation is important to us. Therefore, we invest a lot of time ensuring that any products we stock are of satisfactory quality, safe to use, and perform as advertised, providing certain conditions are met.

It is also important to us that you are entirely satisfied with any advice you receive or any purchase you make.  This is why we offer a full Money Back Guarantee.  Even if a particular product or service doesn’t work for you and we refund your money in full, we will still go out of our away to help diagnose any underlying issue or fault, free of charge.

Shipping

To ensure the safety of our staff, couriers and customers, we are trained in the safe handling and packing of hazardous and UN-classified dangerous goods.

This includes using correct packaging materials and techniques, such as:

• Using boxes that are strong enough to survive the journey
• Securing plastic bottled liquids in plastic bags to protect against leaks
• Placing sufficient absorbent and protective material in boxes
Using Correct upright and Limited Quantity-compliant labels where applicable

We also use couriers that are qualified and thus authorised to ship any dangerous goods that you order.  This could include Class 2.1 Aerosols or Class 3 flammable liquids, for example. Although we use Royal Mail for non-dangerous goods, unlike many other resellers we DO NOT use Royal Mail or similar mail services for the delivery of UN-classified dangerous goods, as such items are prohibited.

REACH & CLP

REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of CHemicals. It ensures chemicals and chemical-based products are sold and distributed responsibly. REACH prohibits the use of certain ingredients, yet some manufactures continue to use them in additives and lubricants. Some MSDS’s (Material Safety Data Sheets) are falsified or just not REACH compliant, i.e. some U.S. written MSDS’s. Except under certain circumstances, it is an offense to distribute products with non-REACH-approved ingredients or a non-REACH-approved MSDS.

The CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) Regulation is a United Nations’ Globally Harmonised System on the classification and labelling of chemicals (GHS) across all European Union countries, including the UK. By law any hazardous chemical (including most fuel additives) sold to the public must be in suitable packaging with CLP-(or old CHIP) compliant labelling. This ensures the customer is correctly informed on the precautions regarding the handling and use of any particular product.  Some importers/distributors continue to plead ignorance and put non-compliant products on the market. Some are actually recognised brands.

We refuse to stock products:

• Where a REACH approved MSDS is not available
• That contain ingredients prohibited by REACH
That do not have CLP-compliant packaging or labelling

Disposal

Some products are hazardous to the environment, including marine life. Therefore, please dispose of any used or unused lubricants/chemicals in a responsible manner. This includes the disposal of containers used to hold such materials.
