MotorSilk® ATF Treatment, with Boron CLS Bond® developed at Argonne National Labs under the Department of Energy is based upon the Boric Acid technology to create an environment for all the working components and fluid in the transmission to operate at their highest efficiency.
This results in the preservation of the components, seals and fluid. The formula is a blend of synthetic esters, Boron, and other elements essential to the life and performance of your transmission and will mix well with any automatic transmission fluid. Boron CLS Bond® is also biodegradable.

APPLICATION:
May be used in all automatic transmissions and manual transmissions which use ATF, add one full bottle (10oz) to the transmission with the engine running, for larger transmissions add 1 part treatment for every 10 parts oil.
DIRECTIONS:
One 280ml (10oz) bottle of Automatic Transmission Treatment treats most cars and light truck transmissions. For larger transmissions add 300ml (10oz) for every 4 litres of automatic transmission fluid specified in your Owner’s Manual.
Follow your Owner’s Manual for opening the hood of your vehicle and locating the transmission fluid dip stick, which also serves as the transmission fluid filler tube on most vehicles. (DO NOT USE MotorSilkTM Transmission Treatment in a CVT transmission, Continuous Variable Transmission, or sealed transmission. The owner’s manual for your vehicle will tell you what type of transmission you have)
Start your engine, making sure your vehicle is in park and the emergency brake is engaged. Check the transmission fluid level as indicated by your Owner’s Manual, to avoid overfilling. Use caution around the running engine. Remove the transmission dip stick. (It is best to use a funnel to install the treatment) Shake the MotorSilkTM Automatic Transmission Treatment before opening. Once shaken, remove the lid and seal and pour the treatment into the transmission fluid intake through the funnel. Replace the transmission dip stick and check to make sure the dip stick is properly sealed.
We recommend Automatic Gear Fluid Treatment be installed by a qualified professional or mechanic.
